Windstar Cruises corporate charters and group programs

Small ships, relaxed luxury and ports the big ships cannot reach.

The short version

Small ship, big experience

Windstar operates a fleet of small ships, including sailing yachts with real sails and all-suite motor yachts, carrying between 148 and 342 guests.

The style is casual luxury — good food, attentive service, no formal nights — and the ships reach smaller harbours and spend longer in them. A water sports platform on many ships adds swimming and paddleboarding to port days.

At this size, a group of a hundred or more can feel like it owns the ship, and full charters are very realistic. If you are still weighing lines against each other, the at-sea overview lays out how we compare them.

Where they sail

The Mediterranean, the Caribbean and Tahiti

Windstar sails the Mediterranean and Northern Europe in summer, the Caribbean in winter, and Tahiti year round, with voyages elsewhere as well.

We will match the ship and itinerary to your dates.

Working together

How we make Windstar work for your program

Buy the Sea has been placing corporate groups at sea for twenty-six years, across every major line. We know how Windstar works, and we know what to ask for and when to ask for it so that your program gets the ships, the spaces and the dates it needs. That is the part we handle.

Bring us a headcount, a budget and a range of dates. We will come back with real options with Windstar — and across every other line, because we represent all of them and we are paid by the cruise line, never by you. There is no fee, no markup and no obligation. Here is why that matters.

Questions planners ask

Windstar, answered

Can we brand the ship?

Within reason, and often more of it than planners expect — signage, screens, key cards, venue naming and private events are all on the table. What is possible comes together at negotiation, and we will walk you through it.

Can you charter an entire Windstar ship?

Yes, subject to dates. With 148 to 342 guests, the ships are well suited to full charters for incentive and association groups.

What does it cost to work with Buy the Sea?

Nothing. We are compensated by the cruise line, never by you. Twenty-six years of doing it this way is covered in why Buy the Sea.
