Ponant corporate charters and group programs

French luxury expedition ships that reach places most ships cannot.

The short version

French style, expedition reach

Ponant is a French line that combines small luxury ships with genuine expedition capability, and it does both with a distinctly French sense of style.

Most of the fleet carries fewer than three hundred guests. At the top end is Le Commandant Charcot, a luxury icebreaker able to reach the geographic North Pole. Elsewhere, the ships sail small ports in Europe and expedition regions around the world.

For an incentive group that wants luxury and a real sense of discovery, Ponant covers both. If you are still weighing lines against each other, the at-sea overview lays out how we compare them.

Where they sail

From the Mediterranean to the poles

Ponant sails the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, Asia, the South Pacific and both polar regions.

We will match an itinerary to your group, whether that is a relaxed European voyage or a true expedition.

Working together

How we make Ponant work for your program

Buy the Sea has been placing corporate groups at sea for twenty-six years, across every major line. We know how Ponant works, and we know what to ask for and when to ask for it so that your program gets the ships, the spaces and the dates it needs. That is the part we handle.

Bring us a headcount, a budget and a range of dates. We will come back with real options with Ponant — and across every other line, because we represent all of them and we are paid by the cruise line, never by you. There is no fee, no markup and no obligation. Here is why that matters.

Questions planners ask

Ponant, answered

Can we brand the ship?

Within reason, and often more of it than planners expect — signage, screens, key cards, venue naming and private events are all on the table. What is possible comes together at negotiation, and we will walk you through it.

Can you charter an entire Ponant ship?

Yes. The ships are small, so full charters are realistic for mid-size programs, subject to dates. We will price that alongside a cabin block.

What does it cost to work with Buy the Sea?

Nothing. We are compensated by the cruise line, never by you. Twenty-six years of doing it this way is covered in why Buy the Sea.
