Sea Cloud Cruises corporate charters and group programs

Classic tall ships where the crew still climbs the rigging and sets the sails by hand.

The short version

Real sailing, in real luxury

Sea Cloud operates true windjammers — tall ships with square sails set by hand — and pairs that experience with comfortable, elegant cabins and a small number of guests.

The fleet includes the historic Sea Cloud, Sea Cloud II and Sea Cloud Spirit. Each carries well under two hundred guests, which makes a full charter realistic for a small group and gives any program an unmistakable sense of occasion.

For attendees who have done big-ship cruising, this is completely different. If you are still weighing lines against each other, the at-sea overview lays out how we compare them.

Where they sail

The Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the Atlantic

Sea Cloud sails the Mediterranean and Europe’s Atlantic coast in summer and the Caribbean in winter, with ocean crossings in between.

We will match sailings to your dates, or build a charter around them.

Working together

How we make Sea Cloud work for your program

Buy the Sea has been placing corporate groups at sea for twenty-six years, across every major line. We know how Sea Cloud works, and we know what to ask for and when to ask for it so that your program gets the ships, the spaces and the dates it needs. That is the part we handle.

Bring us a headcount, a budget and a range of dates. We will come back with real options with Sea Cloud — and across every other line, because we represent all of them and we are paid by the cruise line, never by you. There is no fee, no markup and no obligation. Here is why that matters.

Questions planners ask

Sea Cloud, answered

Can we brand the ship?

Within reason, and often more of it than planners expect — signage, screens, key cards, venue naming and private events are all on the table. What is possible comes together at negotiation, and we will walk you through it.

Can we charter a Sea Cloud ship?

Yes. The ships are small, so a full charter is often the best option for a group, subject to dates. We will price it for you.

What does it cost to work with Buy the Sea?

Nothing. We are compensated by the cruise line, never by you. Twenty-six years of doing it this way is covered in why Buy the Sea.
