Princess Cruises logoCruise Line Programs

Princess Cruises corporate groups and charters

Ships designed to move a large group easily, wearable onboard technology, and the most complete Alaska programs available anywhere.

The short version

The line that runs like an operation

Princess has spent decades carrying large groups well, and it shows in the parts of a program that planners actually worry about.

The ships are laid out sensibly, the crew are practised at handling group movements, and the onboard technology makes the logistics of a few hundred people noticeably easier. Guests wear a small wearable device that opens their stateroom, orders a drink to wherever they happen to be standing, and helps them find each other across the ship. On a program where people are spread across eighteen decks, that is genuinely useful.

It also sails one of the strongest Alaska programs at sea, including land-and-sea itineraries that pair the cruise with wilderness lodges inside Denali. See the at-sea overview for the rest of the brands we represent.

What your attendees will be talking about

01 — A ship that is

A ship that is easy to move a group around

Princess ships are designed with a clear sense of flow — wide public spaces, sensible circulation and venues where they should be. For a program that needs to get several hundred people from a general session to a reception to dinner without a traffic jam, that design pays off every single day.

Dining with real range

Steakhouses, Italian, seafood, a long-running partnership with a celebrated chef on the main dining menus, and a dessert and pastry program the line takes seriously. Private dining buyouts work well here, and the kitchens are comfortable handling a large group as one seating.

Entertainment built for a full house

Princess invests heavily in its theatres, with original productions developed alongside major Broadway names, and the newest ships carry a spectacular open-air venue that turns the top deck into a multimedia show space at night. It makes for an award evening that feels like an event.

Alaska, done properly

Princess operates its own wilderness lodges and rail cars in Alaska, so a program can combine days at sea with time inland at Denali under a single arrangement. Very few lines can offer that, and for a milestone incentive it is a genuinely distinctive reward.

Quiet spaces and a serious spa

Adults-only retreats, a large spa and thermal suite, and plenty of sheltered deck space mean there is somewhere restful to send people after a full day of content. Programs that run hard appreciate having that option built in.

Where they sail

Alaska, the Caribbean, Europe and the Pacific

Princess sails the Caribbean year round from Fort Lauderdale and Galveston, and runs one of the largest Alaska programs at sea from Seattle, Vancouver and Whittier each summer. Europe operates spring through autumn from Barcelona, Rome, Southampton and Copenhagen, with further seasonal deployment to Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the South Pacific.

If Alaska is on your list, build the conversation around it early — the land-and-sea programs draw on lodge and rail capacity as well as the ship. Tell us where your people are and we will tell you what is available.

Working together

How we make Princess work for your program

Buy the Sea has been placing corporate groups and full ship charters with Princess for twenty-six years. We know the fleet, we know the people, and we know what to ask for and when to ask for it so that your program gets the ship, the spaces and the dates it needs. That is the part we handle.

Bring us a headcount, a budget and a range of dates. We will come back with real options across the Princess fleet — and across every other line, because we represent all of them and we are paid by the cruise line, never by you. There is no fee, no markup and no obligation. Here is why that matters.

Questions planners ask

Princess, answered

Can the onboard wearable help us run the program?

It makes a real difference on a large group — stateroom access, ordering from anywhere on the ship, and finding people quickly. How far that extends for your program is something we work through with the line during planning.

How far ahead should we book?

For a group block, nine to fifteen months gives you the best choice of ships and dates, and Alaska summer sailings go earlier than that. For a full charter, plan on eighteen to twenty-four months.

What does Buy the Sea charge?

Nothing. We are compensated by the cruise line, never by you. More in the FAQ.
