Oceania Cruises charters and executive group programs

The finest cuisine at sea with no surcharges, chef-led market tours ashore, and itineraries built around long days in port.

The short version

The food is the argument

Oceania has built its reputation on one idea executed relentlessly: the best cuisine at sea.

That is not marketing language here — it is the organising principle of the whole operation. There are multiple specialty restaurants on every ship with no surcharge, a culinary centre with hands-on cooking classes, and market tours ashore led by the ships’ own chefs. For an audience that cares about food and wine, it changes the character of the entire week.

The ships are mid-sized and elegantly unfussy, the itineraries are destination-led with long stays and frequent overnights in port, and the guest count is small enough that a corporate program of a few hundred feels like a significant presence aboard. See the at-sea overview for the rest of the brands we represent.

What your attendees will be talking about

Specialty restaurants, no surcharge

French, Italian, steak, pan-Asian and a Mediterranean-leaning room, all included in the fare. On most lines these would be an upcharge and a negotiation; here your attendees simply book them. A private buyout for the group makes for a dinner that people will still be describing a year later.

A culinary centre and chef-led market tours

Hands-on cooking classes in a purpose-built teaching kitchen, and shore excursions where the ship’s chefs take guests through local markets and then cook what they bought. As a group activity it is one of the best team experiences available at sea — genuinely engaging, and nothing like a standard excursion.

03 — Wine and spirits taken

Wine and spirits taken seriously

A proper wine program, a dedicated tasting and enrichment space on the newer ships, and sommeliers who know what they are pouring. For a president’s club audience it is an easy, elegant way to build an evening.

Long days in port, and overnights

Oceania itineraries are built around the destination rather than sea days — late departures and overnight stays are common, which means your group can have dinner ashore and still sleep on the ship. That flexibility opens up program options most cruise itineraries cannot offer.

A ship that feels like a country house

Mid-sized, calm, beautifully finished, with libraries, lounges and open deck rather than water parks. Your attendees can find each other easily, and conversations actually happen — which on a relationship-building program is the whole point.

Where they sail

The Mediterranean, Northern Europe and far beyond

Oceania sails the Mediterranean and Northern Europe from spring through autumn out of Barcelona, Rome, Athens, Lisbon, Copenhagen and Southampton, the Caribbean and Panama Canal through the winter from Miami, and maintains deployment across Alaska, Asia, Australia, South America and Africa, including extended world voyages.

The mid-sized ships reach harbours the largest vessels cannot enter, which is often the reason a client chooses this fleet. Tell us where your people are and what you want them to see, and we will tell you what is available.

Working together

How we make Oceania work for your program

Buy the Sea has been placing corporate groups and full ship charters with Oceania for many years. We know the fleet, we know the people, and we know what to ask for and when to ask for it so that your program gets the ship, the spaces and the dates it needs. That is the part we handle.

Bring us a headcount, a budget and a range of dates. We will come back with real options across the Oceania fleet — and across every other line, because we represent all of them and we are paid by the cruise line, never by you. There is no fee, no markup and no obligation. Here is why that matters.

Questions planners ask

Oceania, answered

How does a charter here compare to a block on a larger ship?

A full charter on a mid-sized ship like these is achievable for a program of a few hundred, which puts complete exclusivity within reach of budgets that could never charter a mega-ship. We will price both so you can compare properly.

How far ahead do we book?

For a group block, nine to fifteen months gives you the best choice of ships and dates. For a full charter, plan on eighteen to twenty-four months.

What is the fee to us?

There is none. Buy the Sea is compensated by the cruise line, never by you. More in the FAQ.
