Disney Cruise Line family incentive and group programs

Broadway-quality theatre, adults-only restaurants and pools, and a week the whole family will be talking about for years.

The short version

When the reward includes the family

Disney Cruise Line does one thing better than anyone at sea: it makes a week feel like an event for every single person aboard, from a four-year-old to a grandparent.

For an incentive program where qualifiers bring their families, that is worth an enormous amount. The people you are rewarding get a genuinely restful, adult-friendly week — adults-only restaurants, pools, bars and a spa — while their children are having what they will describe for years as the best holiday of their lives. Nobody is compromising, which is rarely true of a family program.

The service standard is exceptional, the theatrical productions are the best afloat, and the private island in the Bahamas is superb. See the at-sea overview for the rest of the brands we represent.

Onboard

What your attendees will be talking about

01 — Theatre that genuinely is

Theatre that genuinely is Broadway quality

Disney stages full original musical productions with proper casts, orchestration and effects, in purpose-built theatres. This is not cruise entertainment with a Disney badge on it — it is the company’s own stagecraft, at sea. An award evening in a room like that does not feel like a function.

02 — Adults-only spaces that are

Adults-only spaces that are actually adult

Every ship carries adults-exclusive restaurants, a dedicated pool area, a lounge and bar district and a large spa. Your qualifiers can hand the children over and have a long, quiet dinner. It is the detail that makes a family incentive work as a reward rather than as a logistics exercise.

Rotational dining, and a crew who learn your names

Guests rotate through the themed main restaurants across the week and their serving team moves with them, so by the third night the crew know your attendees by name and how they take their coffee. The service ratio here is among the highest at sea and people notice it immediately.

Disney Dream

Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay

Disney’s private destinations in the Bahamas are consistently rated the best private islands in the business — real beaches, an adults-only stretch away from the family areas, watersports, barbecue and cabanas, with the logistics entirely handled.

Characters, deck parties and a sense of occasion

Deck parties with fireworks at sea, character experiences, and a level of detail in the theming that people who think they are indifferent to Disney tend to find disarming. It gives a program a shared, memorable centre.

Where they sail

The Caribbean, Europe, Alaska and the Pacific

Disney sails the Bahamas and the Caribbean year round from Port Canaveral, Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Galveston. Summer opens up the Mediterranean and Northern Europe from Barcelona and Southampton, Alaska from Vancouver, and there is growing deployment in Australia and Asia.

The fleet is compact and demand is consistently strong, so dates are worth discussing early. Tell us where your people are and we will tell you what is available.

Working together

How we make Disney work for your program

Buy the Sea has been placing corporate groups with Disney for many years, and we work directly with their group and charter teams. We know the ships, we know the people, and we know what to ask for and when to ask for it so that your program gets the sailing and the spaces it needs. That is the part we handle.

Bring us a headcount, a budget and a range of dates. We will come back with real options across the Disney fleet — and across every other line, because we represent all of them and we are paid by the cruise line, never by you. There is no fee, no markup and no obligation. Here is why that matters.

Questions planners ask

Disney, answered

Does a Disney program work for adults without children?

It does, and rather better than people expect — there are adults-only restaurants, pools, bars and a spa on every ship. It comes into its own when your qualifiers are bringing families, and we will talk through the mix.

How far ahead should we book?

Earlier than most lines. The fleet is small and demand is strong, so for a group block give yourself twelve to eighteen months where you can, and longer for a charter.

What does Buy the Sea charge?

Nothing. We are compensated by the cruise line, never by you. More in the FAQ.
