Seabourn charters and ultra-luxury group programs

Small all-suite ships, nearly everything included, and true exclusivity within reach of a program of a few hundred.

The short version

Exclusivity, priced sensibly

Seabourn builds small, intimate ships and runs them with a service culture that feels closer to a private club than a cruise line.

Everything is a suite, nearly everything is included, and the crew-to-guest ratio is high enough that your attendees are recognised by name within a day. There is no assigned seating and no fixed schedule — people eat when and where they like, and the ship arranges itself around them.

For a corporate program, the real headline is scale. Because the ships are small, a full charter is genuinely achievable for a few hundred people, which puts complete exclusivity within reach of a budget that could never take over a large vessel. What your attendees will be talking about

SEABOURN VENTURE

All-suite, all-ocean-view

Every guest is in an ocean-view suite, most with a private veranda, and the suites are generous. Nobody on your program is in a category that feels like a consolation prize, which removes a conversation incentive planners would rather not have.

Included throughout, with no counting

Fine wines and spirits poured throughout the ship, all dining venues, gratuities and in-suite bar stocked to preference — included. Your qualifiers spend the week without a folio building up, and you present a program cost that does not move.

Dining that holds up anywhere

A formal restaurant, a relaxed grill, an Asian-leaning venue and a long-standing collaboration with a celebrated chef whose menus appear across the fleet. Caviar on the beach is a house signature and exactly the sort of thing your attendees will photograph.

The marina, and the water

Most ships carry a fold-out marina platform at the stern — kayaks, paddleboards and swimming directly off the ship in sheltered anchorages. It is an easy, memorable afternoon that costs you nothing to organise, and it is the kind of detail your attendees photograph and send home.

Expedition ships with submarines

The newest ships in the fleet are purpose-built expedition vessels carrying Zodiacs, a team of scientists and naturalists, and two submarines. Antarctica, the Arctic and remote Pacific itineraries, with the same suites and the same service standard.

Where they sail

The Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the far corners

Seabourn sails the Mediterranean and Northern Europe from spring through autumn out of Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Athens and Copenhagen, the Caribbean through the winter, and maintains deployment across Alaska, Asia, Australia, South America, Africa and the Antarctic and Arctic on the expedition ships.

The small ships reach anchorages and harbours the large vessels cannot, and overnight stays in port are common. Tell us where your people are and what you want them to see, and we will tell you what is available.

Working together

How we make Seabourn work for your program

Buy the Sea has been placing corporate groups and full ship charters with Seabourn for many years. We know the fleet, we know the people, and we know what to ask for and when to ask for it so that your program gets the ship, the suites and the dates it needs. That is the part we handle.

Bring us a headcount, a budget and a range of dates. We will come back with real options across the Seabourn fleet — and across every other line, because we represent all of them and we are paid by the cruise line, never by you. There is no fee, no markup and no obligation. Here is why that matters.

Questions planners ask

Seabourn, answered

What does a full charter actually give us?

The whole ship — every suite, every venue, the deck spaces, the daily programme and the itinerary within reason. On a vessel this size that is achievable for a program of a few hundred, and it is one of the most complete forms of exclusivity available anywhere. Tell us the headcount and we will price it.

How far ahead do we book?

For a group block, twelve to eighteen months. For a full charter, plan on eighteen to twenty-four months — the fleet is small and the best dates go early.

What is the fee?

There is none. Buy the Sea is compensated by the cruise line, never by you. More in the FAQ.
