Silversea charters and luxury incentive programs

All-suite ships with butler service throughout, and an expedition fleet that takes the same standard to Antarctica and the Arctic.

The short version

Two fleets, one standard

Silversea runs two quite different operations under one flag, and both are excellent.

The classic fleet is small, all-suite, butler-serviced and almost entirely inclusive — the ships sail the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the great port cities of the world with a service standard that is genuinely among the best afloat. The expedition fleet takes the same standard to Antarctica, the Arctic, the Galápagos and the Kimberley, with ice-class hulls, Zodiacs and expert naturalists aboard.

For an incentive program, that range is unusual and valuable. You can offer a polished European week or a genuine expedition, and the service, food and feel carry across both. See the at-sea overview for the rest of the brands we represent.

What your attendees will be talking about

01 — All-suite, with a butler

All-suite, with a butler for every guest

Every accommodation is a suite and every suite comes with butler service. It is not a luxury upsell reserved for a top tier — it is how the whole ship works, so your entire program is looked after to the same standard. On a qualifier trip that consistency matters more than people expect.

02 — Almost everything included

Almost everything included

Fares include dining across all restaurants, drinks throughout the ship, gratuities and wifi, with transfers and excursions included on much of the fleet. Your attendees stop thinking about cost on the first evening and you can present the finance team with a number that holds.

03 — Food and wine at

Food and wine at a genuinely high level

Several restaurants on each ship, from a formal room through Italian, Asian and grill venues, with a wine program and sommeliers to match. The kitchens are comfortable building a private dinner around a group and doing it properly.

04 — Expedition, done without giving

Expedition, done without giving anything up

The expedition ships carry ice-class hulls, a fleet of Zodiacs and a team of naturalists, historians and photographers — and they keep the suites, the butlers and the food. Antarctica or the Arctic as a board-level reward, with none of the roughing it.

Small ships that go where large ones cannot

With a few hundred guests aboard, these ships tie up in harbours the big vessels have to skip, and the itineraries lean towards longer stays and overnights. Your program sees places rather than passing them.

Where they sail

From the Mediterranean to Antarctica

The classic fleet sails the Mediterranean and Northern Europe spring through autumn from Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Lisbon and Copenhagen, and the Caribbean through the winter. The expedition fleet works Antarctica and South America over the austral summer, the Arctic and Svalbard in the northern summer, and the Galápagos, Australia and the Pacific through the year.

Expedition capacity is genuinely limited by the size of the ships, so if Antarctica or the Arctic is the ambition, start the conversation early. Tell us where your people are and what you want them to see.

Working together

How we make Silversea work for your program

Buy the Sea has been placing corporate groups and full ship charters with Silversea for many years, across both the classic and expedition fleets. We know the ships, we know the people, and we know what to ask for and when to ask for it so that your program gets the sailing and the suites it needs. That is the part we handle.

Bring us a headcount, a budget and a range of dates. We will come back with real options across the Silversea fleet — and across every other line, because we represent all of them and we are paid by the cruise line, never by you. There is no fee, no markup and no obligation. Here is why that matters.

Questions planners ask

Silversea, answered

Is an expedition charter realistic for a small board program?

Yes — the expedition ships carry around one hundred guests, which puts a full charter comfortably within reach for a board or executive program. It is one of the most distinctive rewards we can arrange. Tell us the headcount and we will price it.

How far ahead do we book?

For a group block, twelve to eighteen months. For a charter, and for anything in Antarctica or the Arctic, plan on eighteen to twenty-four months — capacity is genuinely finite.

What is the cost to us?

Nothing. Buy the Sea is compensated by the cruise line, never by you. More in the FAQ.
