Caryn Rosenthal joined Buy the Sea as Vice President of Corporate Sales in 2004. She came to Buy the Sea after many years of success selling business equipment and custom lighting, specializing in the hotel industry. Her love of travel prompted her to switch gears and join the world of incenitves. Caryn is laser-focused on the needs of the customer. She understands that the ultimate success of a program requires upfront listening and ongoing communication related to the group dynamic, vision and anticipated results.

Moving up to President of Buy The Sea in 2022, Caryn is committed to staying the course by maintaining the company’s client-centric focus, “keeping our relationships personal while growing the company to provide even more deal-making leverage for each and all of our accounts.”

Sandy Cohen, a native of Rhode Island, joined Buy the Sea in 2006 to manage our Incentive House Accounts in the United States and Canada. She has over thirty years of experience in the cruise and hotel industries. Sandy has worked in an incentive sales capacity for Crystal Vacations, Sun International Representation (The Atlantis Resort and the Ocean Club on Paradise Island, Bahamas) and Norwegian Cruise Line. Sandy has an expansive knowledge of the cruise industry and is an expert at finding the right ship for any client.

Jaci Samedy, a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University with a B.A. in Organizational Communications and Florida International University with a B.A. in Speech Pathology, has been with Buy the Sea since March of 2008. As Vice President of Operations and Administration, she acts as the management head responsible for Buy the Sea’s overall operational vision and administrative philosophy. Jaci's corporate background, operational know-how and successful sales knowledge make her the perfect executive team leader. Jaci’s specialties include building long-term partnerships, ensuring total client satisfaction, and delivery of strategic program planning for intricate land and sea events.

Ana Ingalls is a native of Nicaragua and has been in the hospitality business for over fifteen years, the last ten working as incentive, special services and charter coordinator for the following companies: Silversea Cruises, SeaDream Yacht Club, and Cunard Line. Ana joined Buy the Sea in 2013 as an Account Executive, specializing in program operations both onboard ships and at resort properties throughout the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America. She is dedicated to exceeding her client’s expectations on land and at sea.

Robbyanne a native of Suriname (South America) joins us from the charter operations team at Celebrity Cruises where she handled high complexity cruise programs around the globe.  She is extremely detail-oriented and customer service focused.  Her goal is to deliver flawless programs and events both onboard the ship and in port, which makes her a stellar addition to our team.  Prior to working at Celebrity Cruises, she solely handled group and charter operations at Azamara Club Cruises. 

Robbyanne has a Bachelor’s of Science in Travel and Tourism Management from Florida International University.  She volunteers at the Miami Gardens Food Pantry along with her husband helping others less fortunate.

Robbyanne’s passion is spending time with her extended family – particularly her parents, her siblings and her adorable niece and nephews.

Shari Wallack
Founder

Shari Wallack was the Founder of Buy the Sea, the industry’s largest cruise and all-inclusive resort brokerage company.  In 2022, Buy The Sea celebrates its 20th year in business.  In 2010, Shari was named one of the top 50 entrepreneurs in South Florida. She began her travel industry career as Director of Corporate and Incentive Sales at Club Med, relocated to South Florida in 1992 to join Renaissance Cruises and spent her last five years in corporate America heading up the incentive sales team at Celebrity Cruises.  When Celebrity was purchased by Royal Caribbean International, Shari founded Buy The Sea, which enabled her to take on a more consultative approach to incentive cruise and resort purchasing.  This allowed her to be completely unbiased, committed to finding the perfect product for each client.

Shari was most proud of her team's accomplishments.  In 2019, Buy the Sea received the coveted DSA Partnership Award.  The team has been recognized as Royal Caribbean’s top Corporate and Incentive Account of the Year a record eight times between 2008 and 2019. Celebrity Cruise Line has bestowed the same honor four times and Silversea twice.
