Royal Caribbean’s new Utopia of the Seas will get the party of all parties started with unmatched energy when it debuts with 3-night weekend and 4-night weekday getaways from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, in July. 20-plus bars and more hot spots, including the brand-new Caribbean bar, Pesky Parrot, two casinos with more than 400 games to play.

The Seven Seas Grandeur debuted for Regent Seven Seas Cruises late last year as the third ship in a class that launched in 2016 with the Seven Seas Explorer. While the ship offers few surprises to experienced Regent guests, each successive ship has doubled down on what the cruise line does best. Avalon Waterways got to the Douroin Portugal in its own time and way. Oceania Cruises names Giada De Laurentiis culinary ambassador. After godmothering Oceania's Vista last year, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis has stepped into the role of brand and culinary ambassador for Oceania Cruises.  De Laurentiis, an Italian-American chef, cookbook author and TV personality who appeared on the Food Network for 20 years, will co-chair the line's new culinary advisory board with Jacques Pépin, a founding member of the line's culinary team and Oceania's original executive culinary director.  https://www.travelweekly.com/Cruise-Travel/Oceania-names-Giada-culinary-ambassador

Royal Caribbean International is adding a second Quantum-Class ship to its operation out of China in 2025. Joining the Spectrum of the Seas, the Ovation of the Seas is scheduled to offer a series of cruises out of Tianjin starting on May 1, 2025. Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will take delivery of a new Super Ship, the S.S. Emilie, in 2026. The ship will sail in Europe. The S.S. Emilie joins a fast-growing fleet. Two chartered ships, the S.S. Victoria and S.S. Elizabeth, will debut in 2024 and 2025, respectively. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings today unveiled the most comprehensive newbuild order in its history—a total of eight vessels, representing nearly 25,000 additional berths, with new classes of ships for each of its three brands—and the construction of a multi-ship pier at Great Stirrup Cay, the company’s private island destination in the Bahamas and its top-rated Caribbean port of call, according to a press release. Windstar Cruises has announced the expansion of its fleet with the addition of the Star Seeker and Star Explorer.
